This year God led me to a year long Bible study on the Fruits of the Spirit. As I was doing the study one night on the Fruit, Patience, it included a scripture that I never would have associated with Patience. It was so profound, I felt compelled to share.
I think we’ve all experienced needing patience in waiting seasons. I don’t know if it ever gets easier because every situation is unique. There are different times, people, different circumstances…there’s not a formula to it, right?
If you’ve ever felt this way or are in it right now, come sit with us and together we’ll encourage one another and lean into what He’s telling us in this moment.
This is an “everyone welcome” study. Free to attend. We just ask that you RSVP for this (and all our events). Aside from setting up the space, we strive to be intentional and have materials ready for each of you individually. 🙏

This Mother’s Day season, we’re creating a special opportunity for children to prepare a heartfelt surprise for the moms they love.
Children will attend with a dad, grandparent, or trusted adult friend and be gently guided by an instructor to create a meaningful keepsake—one designed especially for Mom. Using their own handwriting, kids will create a simple, beautiful gift that will be kept hidden until Mother’s Day.
This calm, low-mess experience is thoughtfully designed to honor moms and preserve one of the sweetest things there is: a child’s handwriting.
What to Expect:

A creative pause to pray, paint, and begin the year with intention
Start the year slowly and meaningfully as we gather to reflect, pray, and create. In this guided watercolor workshop, you’ll paint your Word of the Year—a word to anchor your heart, focus your prayers, and guide your steps in the months ahead.
Cassie will walk you through simple watercolor techniques and we’ll discuss ways to design your watercolor painting. You’ll receive a traceable template for your word (no experience needed!). Each guest will leave with a 5x7 watercolor canvas featuring their chosen word.

Worship Night
Join us for a joyful evening of worship, community, and connection here at Rooted and Gather in Arden, North Carolina. We are so excited to host our second worship night since opening, and we would love for you to be part of it.
The evening begins from 6–7pm with time to gather, connect, and enjoy our coffee, tea, matcha, and baked goods, available for purchase. This is a relaxed, acoustic worship night - we really just want to lean into the presence of the Lord, and make space for Him to come in.
At 7pm, we’ll transition into worship led by Jayme and Hailey, and we are beyond excited to have them lead us in worship.

Together, we’ll enjoy Christmas treats, warm drinks, and a few surprises as we celebrate the love, joy, and togetherness of the season. Rooted and Gather is honored to be a place where families can gather, make memories, and feel right at home.
Cost:
Free to attend. Snacks, drinks, and quick crafts like cookie decorating for the kids or dried orange & cinnamon garland for the adults available for purchase.

Slow down the holiday rush and savor a day of creativity, connection, and cozy moments at Rooted and Gather’s DIY Gift Making Day! Bring your family or a few friends and enjoy crafting thoughtful, handmade gifts in our warm, Christ-centered space.
Choose from a variety of simple, meaningful projects like sugar scrubs, photo coasters, air dry clay trinket trays, car air diffusers, and hot cocoa bombs—each designed to make your loved ones smile. Create one or several gifts—pay per project or enjoy a discount when you make four or more.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the season with Christmas music, complimentary hot cocoa, and festive Polaroid keepsakes while you craft. Floating staff will be available throughout the day to offer guidance and inspiration.
Take time to pause at our Scripture Reflection Station, where you can write a prayer or blessing card for the person receiving your handmade gift—a small way to share the love of Christ through every creation.
Whether you come for an hour or stay all afternoon, this open-house style event is the perfect way to kick off your Christmas season with creativity, community, and joy.

Scrips & Scraps: A Faith-Filled Scrapbooking Gathering
Pull up a chair, bring your favorite photos, and settle in for a cozy, creative night at Rooted and Gather. Scrips & Scraps is our warm and simple scrapbooking class designed for fellowship, storytelling, and crafting keepsakes that remind us of God’s goodness through every season.
We’ll provide a curated selection of scrapbook papers, stickers, embellishments, and special cards for writing your favorite scriptures or prayers. You'll create scrapbook pages that celebrate the memories that matter most—family milestones, sweet friendships, answered prayers, or everyday joy.
