Help Support Collier and the Sigman Family
Collier is a strong, courageous 12-year-old boy whose faith and resilience have touched everyone who knows him. Earlier this year, Collier was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma (Level 4), a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer that spreads into the spinal cord.
When the doctors shared his diagnosis, Collier’s first response was:
“It’s okay guys — God’s got my back.”
This simple yet powerful statement has become the family’s anthem, a daily reminder of the strength they have through faith.
The Journey So Far
Since his diagnosis, Collier has faced challenges most adults could hardly imagine. He has undergone:
Brain surgery to remove the tumor
Six weeks of radiation treatments (five days a week)
Numerous spinal taps to monitor the cancer in his spinal cord
Beginning in August, a six-month chemotherapy program
Through every test, treatment, and procedure, Collier continues to show incredible courage, leaning on his faith and reminding everyone around him that God truly does have his back.
The Family’s Needs
While Collier continues to fight, the family faces heavy burdens beyond the emotional weight of this journey. They travel frequently for appointments — several times a week to Charlotte and, as needed, to Winston Salem. On top of that are the medical bills, meals, supplies, and everyday family needs that add up quickly.
Their greatest request is prayer — for Collier’s healing, for strength, and for peace through this season. Beyond prayer, many have asked how they can help lighten the load. See below for other ways to support Collier and his family.
